Annual Yard Sale

Need some cheap books for summer reading? Desperate for new dishes? Want to stock up on your holiday decorations? You’re in luck. These goods and many more can be found at our indoor yard sale on Saturday, April 23rd from 9 AM -12 PM.

We will not be selling any historical artifacts from our collections (although we have some Argus yearbooks!). All items for sale have been accumulated through donations. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be treasures…

Proceeds from the sale will support future museum programs and exhibitions.

Hannaford Helps

We are happy to announce that the Gardner Museum has been selected to be a part of the exciting and innovative Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program, designed to support local nonprofits like us.

For every blue Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag with the good karma messaging purchased at the Gardner Hannaford store during the month of April, $1 is donated to our cause in order to help us fulfill our mission.

Next Evening Event:  May 5 “The Heroin Epidemic and Pain Medication - The Local Impact and How to Protect Your Pills”

The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office will provide information on the current heroin/opioid epidemic on a local level

Event runs from 7-8 pm, after a museum-hosted reception from 6:30-7 pm.
As in the past, reservation for this evening program is required, it is open to the public!

Spring Exhibit

The “Lego Lovers Exhibit” runs from March 2 to the end of May.

The name "Lego" is an abbreviation of the two Danish words "leg godt", meaning "play well". Fun is both in the process, and in the completion.

Upcoming Event

The Gardner Museum exhibit committee is seeking amateur and professional photographers for our upcoming summer exhibit June 1st to the end of August. The exhibit is themed "Sunrises, Sunsets & Scenic Spots". If interested please contact the museum so that you may be added to the list of exhibitors.
