2013 Festival of Trees

November 14 - December 7, 2013: Ninth Annual Festival of Trees

The Wednesday, November 13 Tree Kickoff is by invitation only

Exhibit opens to the public on November 14

Event sponsors are Carriage House Restaurant, Colonial Co-operative Bank, Heywood Hospital, Mack Family Funeral Homes, Mount Wachusett Community College, People's Fuel, Inc. and The Gardner News. This is an ongoing exhibit of various sized decorated artificial Christmas trees, each one with a special theme, along with wreaths, baskets and other items. Also, for raffle will be 3 dollhouses. The exhibit opens to the public on November 14 and culminates with a raffle on December 7, at 2 p.m.

There are limited hours on December 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A Holiday Social will be held on November 20, with a visit November 30 from Santa Claus. Tree pickup is on December 8.

In addition to regular hours Wednesday and Thursday 1-4 p.m., the trees can be viewed during extended Museum hours on Friday from 1-7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Raffle tickets are $5, and include Museum admission for non-members.

Dollhouses to be Raffled

Here are photos, front and back of Lilliput Cottage, 1/2” scale, which will be raffled during the upcoming Festival of Trees. There will be two other dollhouses for raffle -- a large Victorian and a house resembling 50’s/60’s era and each will be fully furnished.
